Morten Ladehoff was born in Denmark in 1978 and began his musical studies at the age of six. He graduaded as organist from the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus in 2002 and gained a soloist diploma in 2004 with the highest distinction. He was selected for masterclasses with Gillian Weir, Michel Chapuis, Wolfgang Zehrer, Guy Bovet, Olivier Latry and others. He undertook further studies with Prof. dr. Ludger Lohmann in Stuttgart and Prof. Hans-Ola Ericsson in Piteå. Morten Ladehoff performed at numerous concerts in cathedrals and concert halls in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and England. He won first prize at the National Holmboe-Competition in 2006, was a finalist at the International Organ Competition in Odense 2011 and prizewinner at the International Organ Competition in Heidelberg 2011.He currently works as organist at Our Lady’s Church in Skive and teaches counterpoint and organ-improvisation at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus.
